Celebrate Online!

Join us online on August 4th to celebrate the Great Glasses Play Day!

We have ways to participate on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and on your blog.  Check below for some ideas of things to do on August 4!

Great Glasses Play Day Interview:

  1. Interview your child in glasses. You could make a video of the interview or just take notes and write up your child’s answers.
  2. Some ideas for questions (feel free to choose or add some of your own):
    1. Tell me about your glasses
    2. What would the best glasses in the world look like?
    3. What is your favorite thing about your glasses?
    4. What is your favorite game?
    5. What would the best playground in the world be like?
    6. What are some fun things you like to do?
  3. Post the interview(there’s a few options for this):
    1. Make a video of the interview and post on YouTube with the tag “Great Glasses Play Day”.  Leave the link to the video as a comment here or on our Facebook page.
    2. Write up your child’s answers and send them, with a picture of your child, or one of your child’s drawings to GGPD@shinypebble.com with permission to post it here.
    3. Post to your own blog with the interview (with picture or drawing or video) and post leave the link as a comment here, or on our Facebook page.
    4. We’ll post the interviews here so that you can share them with your children.

Note: We understand that different families make different choices about how much of their children’s lives to share online.  Please do not do anything that makes you uncomfortable about your limits to your child’s privacy.  You do not need to ever post your child’s name or photo to participate in these activities.  If you are comfortable doing that, that’s quite all right, too!
